Website measurement

We count visits to the public pages of this site so we can understand which content is useful. This measurement is deliberately minimal and designed so that no visitor can be identified.

  • No cookies and no third parties. Nothing is stored on your device, and no data is sent to an external analytics provider. Everything stays on university servers.
  • What is counted: the page visited, the country your connection appears to come from, whether you are on a phone or a computer, the site that linked you here, and which photos and videos are opened.
  • How visitors are counted: by an irreversible code derived from your network address, your browser and the current date. Because the date is part of it, the code changes every day — visits cannot be linked together from one day to the next, and the code cannot be turned back into your address.
  • Retention: these records are deleted after 90 days. Only anonymous daily totals, containing no visitor codes at all, are kept beyond that.
  • Not measured: the applicant area and the staff area. Once you sign in, your activity on the portal is not part of this measurement.
